BUET, BIM sign MoU to enhance blended research, academic collaboration

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in blended research and academic programs.

The MoU was signed on Saturday at BUET, marking a significant step towards strengthening academic, professional and research ties between the two institutions.

The agreement was formalized by BUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abu Borhan Mohammad Badruzzaman and BIM Director General Dr. Khandoker Azizul Islam.

The Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT) at BUET and IQAC Office of BIM coordinated the initiative from both sides.

The signing ceremony was attended by several distinguished BUET officials, including Prof. Dr. Abdul Hasib Chowdhury (Pro Vice-Chancellor), Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Masud (Director, Directorate of Students' Welfare), Prof. Dr. N. M. Golam Zakaria (Registrar) and Prof. Dr. Mohidus Samad Khan (Director, IAT).

On behalf of BIM, notable attendees included Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid (Director, IQAC) and Dr. Uttam Kumar Datta (Head of Marketing).

This partnership aims to foster joint efforts in education, training and innovation, benefiting both institutions' academic and research agendas.

The MoU sets the foundation for launching blended academic programs, enriching the educational landscape and contributing to the development of knowledge and expertise in various fields.
