Vernon County Sheriff's Office arrested 49-year-old Justice William Kelly from Cuba City, Wis. for reckless endangerment involving a firearm while driving Friday night. 'Justice' is the name of the individual, not a title.
The Sheriff's Office received a call around 6:30 p.m. that reported a vehicle operator discharging a firearm multiple times while driving down Highway 14.
Five minutes later, Kelly phoned the Sheriff's Office to inform police his vehicle had been contacted in the rear and he would wait at a nearby convenience store to file a report on the incident.
The Sheriff's Office reported Kelly was forthcoming about his firearm while he was reporting the incident.
There were children in both callers' vehicles. Nobody was injured in the incident.
Kelly cooperated with the investigation and responding officers recovered Kelly's firearm from his vehicle before arresting him.

He was transported to the Sheriff's Office Detention Center and booked on potential charges for 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.
Kelly is expected to appear in Vernon County Circuit Court on Monday where formal charges will be sought.
