The Shrimpers were without both Josh Walker and Charley Kendall for Tuesday night's 3-2 defeat at Wealdstone while Slavi Spasov went off injured at the start of the second half.
But Currie expects Walker and Kendall to soon be back in action and is still waiting to discover the full extent of Spasov's injury.
"The results back from Walks' scan means he can start getting back on the grass in the next few days," said Currie.
"The weekend might come a bit too soon but we'll see.
"Kendall took a bump on Saturday and then fell ill over the weekend.
"He wasn't well enough to be involved tonight but all being well he'll back in Thursday and he will be OK for the weekend.
"It might come too soon for Walks but we'll see what Thursday brings."
Walker has missed the last four matches with a hamstring issue for Blues while Kendall was also forced to sit out the clash with the Stones.
That meant a first start in attack for Spasov but he could not see out the game because of a back problem.
"He was complaining about a spasm in his back," explained Currie.
"He was struggling to breathe and it's a shame because after he's got that goal he wants to play.
"We'll have to assess him and see where he is ahead of the weekend."
And Currie had words of praise for the summer signing after he netted his first goal for the club since with a low shot which somehow deceived Wealdstone goalkeeper Dante Baptsite.
"Slavi had a chance before his goal following a cross-shot from Boyesy (Harry Boyes)," said Currie.
"He probably felt he should have done better with that but he had an influence on the outcome of Saturday's game at Solihull.
"He's got his first goal for the club tonight and there will be more to come from him the more he understands how we work.
