A young Ghanaian prodigy has captivated many after a video of him displaying his extraordinary mental arithmetic skills trended online.

In a trending video, the young boy, identified as Jeremiah Owura, left the internet buzzing after he was quizzed with arithmetic questions that someone his age would probably not be able to answer in the same manner.

In the early part of the video, he was quizzed by a Ghanaian interviewer who posed a series of complex multiplication and division problems involving decimals and large numbers.

To the amazement of those present, he answered each question flawlessly and with apparent ease.

Each of the questions, no matter the complexity, was answered within seconds, making him the envy of his peers. Owura was then tested by two foreign men, trying to see if there was a limit to his talent.

The pair, visibly intrigued, decided to increase the difficulty level by asking him to cube large numbers, such as 98, 172, and 199.

To their astonishment, the young boy gave the correct multi-digit answers on the spot, with no more than 15 seconds of mental calculation.

The foreigners, who verified his responses with a calculator, were left speechless. Their expressions shifted from curiosity to disbelief, with one of them even joking by saying:

""Is this a real kid or is this a robot?"

After he got all the questions correct, the foreigner decided to reward him with a sweet, which he accepted and appreciated him for the kind gesture.

The video of Owura displaying his mathematics skills is below.

The incredible clip has since attracted admiration online, with many describing Owura as a once-in-a-generation talent.
