ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Eight months after a man was pulled over with a dead body in his car, the Douglas County District Attorney's office said he won't face charges.
The driver, who has not been identified, acted in self-defense during a gun sale turned deadly shooting, the district attorney's office determined.

Malachi Mitchell, 21, was found dead in the car.
In February, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said Mitchell and the driver met inside a car about a gun sale. A fight later broke out inside the vehicle over control of the gun, and the driver allegedly shot Mitchell with a second gun and drove away.
The driver was pulled over minutes later for erratic driving, which is when deputies found Mitchell's body, according to the sheriff's office.

Kenya Mitchell, Malachi's mother, has been outspoken on the case since February. She declined to comment on Tuesday.
In August, two state representatives joined Kenya in calling for answers in the case.
