Ding-Dong! The witch is dead. That famous song from "The Wizard of Oz" will be echoing throughout the homes of New Orleans Saints fans following the news that Dennis Allen has been fired. The Black and Gold now usher in a new era with the Atlanta Falcons coming to town.
New Orleans has lost an NFL-worst seven consecutive games. The head coaching change has already been made, which usually signifies the end of all hope for a franchise in a given season. All of that being said, how do oddsmakers see the NFC South showdown playing out from the Caesars Superdome?

Sunday's meeting will be the 112th all-time between the two division rivals. Atlanta's win earlier in the season saw the Dirty Birds take a 56-55 advantage in the series. Sportsbooks expect Kirk Cousins and Co. to extend the lead in the rivalry, as well as atop the division, in Week 10.
Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook:
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Time/TV: Sunday, Nov. 10 at noon CT (Fox)
Spread (via FanDuel Sportsbook): Falcons -3.5
Total: 47.5
Moneyline: Falcons -188, Saints +158
New Orleans opens up as a 3.5-point home underdog against Atlanta. Many expect the Caesars Superdome to be filled with the Falcons' black and red, which makes it a quasi-home game for the traveling team. Given all of the turmoil on and off the field with the Saints, it's a surprise to many that this line isn't larger.
However, the spread does go a long way to show that the new coach bounce is more than a myth to oddsmakers. Can Darren Rizzi get the Black and Gold up for this game? Time will tell.
The total is set at 47.5. The teams went over this in their earlier meeting this season when Atlanta won 26-24. Despite this, FanDuel is offering interested bettors standard -110 vig no matter which way they choose to play the total. The Saints are averaging just 16.5 points per game during their current losing streak, whereas the Falcons rank Top 12 in scoring offense this year.
Kickoff is slated for noon CT on Sunday, Nov. 10. Fox will carry the regional broadcast with the commentary team to be determined.
