The meet, in its 24th consecutive year, further brings the indoor season into focus, with athletes building on season openers and hitting full stride.

Friday's competition begins at 12 noon in the field and 2 p.m. on the track, with the first multi-events of the season also getting underway at 1 p.m. Action will run until approximately 8 p.m. Friday night. Saturday picks up again at 10 a.m. and should conclude around 4 p.m.

Washington's impressive first home weekend helped the men's team debut at No. 5 nationally in the first USTFCCCA rankings which came out on Tuesday.

Several Husky All-Americans are scheduled to have their Dempsey Indoor debuts this weekend. is entered in the 800m and the mile, is in the mile and the 3k, Amanda and are both set to pole vault after each cleared 15-3 at the National Pole Vault Summit two weeks ago. also makes his Dempsey debut after vaulting at the Summit last time out. And decathlon All-American is entered in his first heptathlon of the season.

Saturday's miles on both the women's and men's sides should be thrillers once again. will look to improve on the 4:33 PR she ran in her Husky debut at the Preview, and is also coming off her 4:35 PR. Foerster was an NCAA Indoor qualifier in the mile last year after setting the school record at 4:28.14.

The men will have three of the nine men who went sub-four two weeks ago running the mile again: , , and . and are dropping down in distance to the 800-meters, while and are going up to the 3k.

At the Preview, the Huskies won all four of the men's jump events, so looking to extend those win streaks will be in the long jump, in the high jump, in the pole vault, and in the triple jump.
