Puyallup comes back from early deficit against Evergreen for 48-14 win

Evergreen scored two touchdowns in the first quarter before running into a buzzsaw in Puyallup, which pitched a shutout over the final three quarters of a 48-14 win Friday.

The Vikings scored touchdowns on five consecutive drives, led Briytan Bailey's three touchdowns and 123 rushing yards. Jayden Woodland and Lawson Looker each caught one touchdown from Luke Parker, who completed 13-of-15 passes for 295 yards in the win at McKenzie Stadium.

Evergreen quarterback Jayden Baum came out firing early, leading the Plainsmen to a pair of touchdowns on their first two drives.

Elijah English caught a 10-yard touchdown and Damian Perez hauled in a 9-yard touchdown pass, respectively, from Baum, giving Evergreen a 14-0 lead with 5 minutes, 33 seconds left in the first quarter.
