Two people sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash, early Sunday morning.
At 12:25 a.m. Sunday, the vehicle traveled off the road over a retaining wall, according to a crash report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The car then struck a tree.
Neither the driver, a Jefferson City man, nor the occupant, a woman from Montgomery City, were wearing safety devices, according to the crash report.
Both the driver and occupant were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.
