[Rant] Legally blocking Comcast from upgrading to mid split

Comcast is getting closer and closer to my house with their mid split upgrades. I want to opt out of their BS RPHY DAA garbage for a variety of reasons. I'm going to have to change my 5 IPs that I have on my residential package, which have been the same for a decade now. I have so many things(some not under my control) tied to those IPs that I can't afford to lose them. I can only imagine that the RPD is going to cook itself inside the node in these Chicago summers can with all the additional processing it has to do, because they expect to pull that off with just passive cooling and no fans. We already have telco grade CMTSes in properly air conditioned buildings with RFOG to the node that work perfectly fine, why couldn't we just add mid split over the RFOG? I have never once had a headend level issue on the E6000 I'm on using my D3.1 surfboard. At least the AT&T RDSLAMs had proper cooling, but they won't sell it to me anymore despite the fact the RDSLAMs are still running! I have tested the mid split connections in my area, and the latency is double that of my sub split because of their boo hoo cloud virtualized f$#& s$!. What's next, moving their network core to AWS and doubling it again? They can f$@# off. I'm in the process of filing a cease and desist with my attorney against COMCAST OF ILLINOIS XI LLC to get this blocked. Maybe it's time for the FCC to step up and regulate these f#*$ers, nobody would tolerate this in the POTS days. Anyone have any insight?
